These are the level themes. They tell you what you might find in the gate you are entering. They can mean what creatures you will find or status effects the creatures will inflict you with. You can see these in a Gate Totem.

This signifies Gremlin levels. I would advise using a sword that deals shadow damage with element resistant armor.

This signifies Slime levels. I would advise using a gun that deals shadow damage with pierce resistant armor.

This signifies Undead levels. I would advise using a gun that deals elemental damage with shadow resistant armor.

This signifies Construct levels. I would advise using a sword that deals elemental damage with element resistant armor.

This signifies fire levels. I would advise using armor with high fire resistance.

This signifies cold levels. I would advise using armor with high freeze resistance.

This signifies toxic levels. I would advise using armor with high poison resistance.

This signifies electric levels. I would advise using armor with high shock resistance.
